State of Therapists and Psychiatrist

Through the entire process of working on my problems, I am continually surprised. My most recent encounter has me absolutely floored.

Let me paint the picture before I go to deep. The first few meetings there were several topics brought up that were normally off limits, politics and religion. Normally, I’ve never talked about those two areas in therapy. This most recent therapists it was brought up in almost every meeting. The first meeting with her…. She was talking about she thinks these are the end of days. The first thing that goes through my mind - “Why in the hell are you doing therapy if you think it’s the end of days?”
