So, this post is going to be a lot of things on my mind. I apologize in advance if it’s hard to follow.
Today’s news
I have become dissatisfied with the whole news scene of our country. I have been watching an array of networks to see what is said about several hot topics. There was one day I was comparing CNN, FOX, ABC and America’s Voice. What I found was so off from each other that I couldn’t figure out what in the world was happening. This particular instance I was trying to figure out what was happening with the COVID numbers in North Carolina. While they all agree the ’numbers’ are going up. What was said from part of them was disturbing. The one that kinda agreed with each of them was FOX. After some research, I found that CNN and ABC are biased towards the ’left’, and found FOX and America’s Voice is reported as the ‘right’. It was odd that FOX was more of a middle of the road on this particular article. So I started looking for a website that had multiple news stories, and Allsides.com came to the front. When viewing the site it seemed to be overwhelmed by ads. I have started on a personal project that will hopefully bridge the gap of all these news outlets. We will see where that goes.
Friends
There are many types of friends. Each relationship is uniquely beautiful. What happens when that friendship goes astray? Well, this past weekend I have just had that experience. It was not a great experience, but I learned a lot of things about myself as well as that person. One thing I strive to do, try to learn each person as a new person. Don’t base any pre-judgements on past experiences with your past. As we all have a past, that’s difficult to do. For me, a female friendship is especially difficult due to my past relationships as well as my mother’s relationship. In a sentence to overview my mother’s relationship; it took me 7 years of therapy to get to a point to where I wasn’t always angry at that woman. As I have gotten older, it seems to be harder to make friendships as well as keep them. Everyone has their own lives, and it’s difficult to make time for each other. Myself being a single man; it’s hard for me to grasp the complexities that it takes to make a family of your own to work.

What is Home? That’s something different for everybody. Some people enjoy a nice tidy house, and some people always have a work in progress type of home. My home is a work in progress type of home. It’s interesting to see what other people say about your house. There have been several people come to my house and say they don’t like it. Rather we like to admit it or not, I think everyone is proud of their home. After all, that’s where a lot of has spent the majority of our time the last two years. One of the proudest things I have going about my home….. is that I designed it. I know it has flaws, and I know it’s not for everyone. I didn’t design it with anyone else in mind, except for me and my goals for my home. I have been asked why I built one so big…. Easy, I wanted a place to have my family housed if it was needed.
